After years of decorating and redecorating (or as I like to call it, “refreshing”) apartments, I’ve done a fair amount of research when it comes to shopping for anything home-related. I’m guilty of spending hours upon hours searching for that perfect “thing,” and then once I’ve found it, I have to check just about every site to make sure I’m getting the best price (anyone else relate?)! Sometimes that process can turn into a tiring and endless hunt, but luckily I’ve discovered a select number of retailers that almost always have what I’m looking for who I’m confident you’ll love too!
(As you might notice, Target is NOT on this list but simply because it needs no explanation of course!)
1. Amazon
Amazon remains a go-to for, let’s face it, literally anything… and home furnishings is no exception! It’s usually one of the first places I’ll check when trying to find something in stock that’s sold out otherwise, or simply to find items at a better price or delivery timeframe. I especially love that they carry Creative Co-op‘s collection, who sell quality, on-trend decor; oftentimes I’ll find identical pieces at higher-end design shops!
2. McGee & Co.
If there’s one interior designer who’s *truly* achieved (well-deserved) household name status, it’s Shea McGee from Studio McGee. Her e-commerce shop, McGee & Co., provides consumers the opportunity to bring her elegant but warm, modern farmhouse style into their own homes. While many of the larger pieces (furniture, rugs, etc.) are definitely investments, most of the home decor is priced reasonably and great quality.
As you may already know, Studio McGee has recently collaborated with Threshold at Target to seasonally create a beautiful, affordable line of home furnishings (that are so popular they typically sell out within hours)!
3. Burke Decor
I stumbled upon Burke Decor when I was looking for a set of brass display boxes that seemed to be sold out everywhere else – and that’s when I realized what a secret gem Burke Decor is. Their inventory is endless and they sell just about any home item under the sun at a wide variety of price points. When I’m looking for something more unique than what’s offered at big-box retailers, this is where I go!
4. H&M Home
H&M Home has become a go-to for trendy, inexpensive decor and it’s recently become a favorite amongst bloggers as well. I can always count on new, seasonal inventory at amazing prices. If you find something you love I highly suggest employing the “buy now, return later” (though I doubt you’ll want to!) approach as their popular items sell out fast!
(As an H&M Member – their free rewards program – you’ll also get exclusive access to frequent promotions!)

5. Chairish
If you’re looking for unique, pre-owned, vintage, or contemporary designer pieces, Chairish is the ultimate destination. They curate world-class furniture, decor, art, and more; they truly are an amazing resource for everything from one-of-a-kind vintage finds to statement-making furnishings.
Another interesting feature about Chairish is the ability to “make an offer” on an item rather than paying the listed price. You enter payment information ahead of time and if the seller approves the price, it’s yours!

6. CB2
I love CB2 for modern, chic decor. Most of their pieces tend to be neutral, making them extremely versatile, but seasonally they do introduce items in different color schemes. CB2 is one of the more mainstream retailers on this list but you’d be surprised by some of their unique designs (and popular designer collaborations!).

7. Shoppe Amber Interiors
Another amazing interior designer-founded shop, Shoppe Amber Interiors by Amber Lewis, curates the perfect blend of California-casual and sophisticated pieces. Her style reminds me a lot of Studio Mcgee’s, which is no surprise as they both have impeccable taste! Shoppe Amber Interiors also creates their own handmade line of furniture with beautiful, sustainable fabrics.

8. The Citizenry
Calling all southwestern/boho/neutral lovers – if you aren’t already familiar with The Citizenry, you absolutely need to check them out ASAP! Their exceptional quality is attributed to working with incredible artisans from around the world, and 10% of the proceeds from their sales are actually given back to those communities.

9. Zara Home
It took me a few years to discover Zara’s home line, but it has become a go-to for sleek, simple, and earth-toned decor. I find all their items to be very well-priced and can be incorporated into just about any style.

10. Lulu & Georgia
Lulu & Georgia caters to many design aesthetics through their curated, on-trend decor. While most of their pieces are definitely splurges, I still really enjoy their selection, which oftentimes showcase exclusive styles as well as designer collaborations, and trust that their pieces are excellent quality.
I also recommend checking out their blog, which is a great source of inspiration, home tours, and designer interviews!
